This was my first (but definitely not my last) trip with Giroola. I was impressed by the first contact via email (thanks Paola) and wasn't let down at any stage. Alessandro our driver/guide was an exceptional young man. Knowledgeable, professional, funny but more than this, sensitive to everyone's needs. He walked slowly or fast depending on weather and terrain, opened doors and was always aware of everyone. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The tour was great despite the weather. We had a lovely day in the Langhe with Alessandro.We particularly enjoyed the wine tasting at a top class winery,Coppo, and an excellent lunch at a hilltop restaurant with magnificent views as well as seeing some of the beautiful countryside and pretty villages in this region. Alessandro was very easy going and good to communicate with. It was a great experience.

I can’t adequately express the gratitude I have for the service, hospitality, and flexibility the folks at Giroola provided on our trip to the Piedmont area. Paola was a tremendous help in setting our agenda and even assisting with plans on days we weren’t with them. Marco was our guide, historian, chauffeur, translator, banker, and now a new friend. We did wine tours for 2 days, a mountain biking tour one day, and cooking lessons making pasta at our rental house one evening. The trip couldn’t have been any better.
